It doesn't matter who you love, Madrid loves you!

In 2017, we will celebrate in Madrid the 40th anniversary of the first manifestation of LGBT pride in Spain in 1977. Held in Barcelona, it marked the beginning of the gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual movement in our country, which was immersed in the transition process towards full democracy after 40 years of dictatorship, being the LGBT community one of the most affected by the repression of the regime.

WorldPride Madrid 2017 was the great LGBT Pride world festival that took place in the Chueca neighborhood and some of the main streets of Madrid. A great festival to celebrate, debate and show diversity, whose central act was the World Manifestation of LGBT Pride, the largest in the world.

Hello dear friends.

During our exchange, the city of Madrid will be one of the great scenarios of our activities. Its streets, its people, its buildings, its monuments and its parks will be part of our Mirrors project. Madrid is a city where we all have a space to express ourselves, feel, know and learn from everyone else.

Between all we will discover the corners and histories that the city hides, of course, thinking about taking advantage of it to the maximum to use it during our exchange.

We already have team

These last days have been very interesting: we took on the task of forming the team that will participate in the youth exchange "MIRRORS" next June. We tell our companeros and compaleras what we want to carry out and what their role will be within this whole plan.

We talk about the various activities within the organization as well as the theme of the project. We had a space for questions and answers that helped us all to have all the concepts clear.

We find that it is an enthusiastic team, very dynamic, eager to learn, to exchange experiences and to live this exchange with all their enthusiasm.

In our association we already held our first meeting to have everything ready for our youth exchange project "MIRRORS".

This was an opportunity to organize the different work areas that will be necessary so that everything is ready the day our partners arrive in Madrid.

We have noticed that there is an enthusiasm among us to make this project a success. And above all, we look forward to the visit of our partners.
